That feeling when pimple in ya butt crack.

Okay. Mildly serious question, because I have no clue on this kind of topic.

Is cosplaying as a cartoon character that is quite obviously a person of colour and/or from a cultural and/or linguistically diverse background cultural appropriation?

I see this a lot with the Avatar: Last Airbender and Legend of Korra cosplaying where white people cosplay as the main characters from these shows, who’s heritage and culture is derived from real world oppressed minorities and is quite obviously not ‘western culture’.

As I said, it’s an area I am really not familiar with and some advice would be great, as I contemplated cosplaying as one of the characters from The Last Airbender, and am now questioning the ethics of doing so.

I JUST REALISED WITH MY RECENT CARTILAGE PIERCINGS I CAN COSPLAY AS TRENT FROM DARIA IF I CHANGE MY STUDS TO SLEEPERS.

ARGH.

I feel like if I shaved my legs I could wear fishnets/stockings and heels and potentially pull it off.
